The Agung Rai Museum of Fine Art (ARMA)
and Red & White Publishing are proud to announce the opening of an
exhibition and book launch of:
Miguel Covarrubias: Sketches, Bali – Shanghai
On Sunday, July 8th,
2012 beginning at 6:30 pm
The
exhibition will include 70 original rare sketches made by the Mexican artist
and author Miguel Covarrubias in the early 1930s along with original works in
the collection of ARMA. The exhibition will continue until August 8th.
The
opening ceremonies will include live music, an introduction by Agung Rai and
talks by co-authors Adriana Williams, the world’s authority on Miguel
Covarrubias & Bali’s resident art expert Bruce W. Carpenter. They
will be available to sign copies of their latest book which will be offered for
a discount price.
